Privacy statement
Version 1, in effect from 2026-10-28.
1. About this statement
Career Coach Dev is a career and job-search app. It keeps track of your applications, helps you write resumes, cover letters and notes for a job, and helps you prepare for interviews. It is offered as a Preview, run by V-Network Solutions for invited Testers. V-Network Solutions decides how your information is used and is responsible for it: V-Network Solutions is its Controller, as section 3 (Definitions) defines the word.
This statement describes what the app does today. When that changes, this statement changes first, and you are asked to read it and to agree to the terms of use again.
2. Key points
- Nothing about you is sold, used for advertising, or shared for anyone else's use.
- What you add is kept so that the app can show it back to you and do what you ask.
- When you press a button that uses AI, the app sends what that task needs to Claude, an AI made by Anthropic. Nothing is sent to Claude unless you press something, with one exception: after you message the Coach, the interviewer in practice, the career interview or the Getting started chat, the app sends that conversation's request to Anthropic again every few minutes, the same content your message sent, for up to 15 minutes, to keep it in Anthropic's cache so your next message costs less. Each shows on AI usage under its own name (Keeping the Coach warm, Keeping a practice interview warm, Keeping a career interview warm, Keeping Getting started warm), and turning Claude off stops it.
- The app never sends Claude the contact details in your profile (name, e-mail address, phone number, town, links), your passwords, or the pay you have entered, except when a button says your pay goes with it. Anything written in a file you ask Claude to read goes with the file.
- In Settings › Privacy, you can turn Claude off or keep certain kinds of information from it.
- Career Coach Dev counts how it is used only at the level you pick: Nothing, Totals only or Detailed when signed in, Reject all, Anonymous only or Accept all in Cookie settings when signed out (section 4). Until you pick, nothing is counted, and a browser that sends Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track always counts as Nothing.
- You can delete what you have added, one item at a time (a few items go only with their application, and a few remain for a time after you delete them: see section 12, Retention), or your whole Account at any time.
3. Definitions
In the privacy statement, the terms of use and the Consumer health data privacy policy, the following words have these meanings wherever they appear, in capitals or not, unless the sentence gives the word another meaning. A definition makes no promise: each promise is in the section that makes it.
- "Account" means your sign-in and what the app keeps under it.
- "Anthropic" means the company that makes Claude.
- "Claude" means the AI made by Anthropic. The Coach is Claude.
- "Coach" means the chat in the app that talks your career and job search through with you, using Claude.
- "Controller" has its meaning in EU and UK law: the person who decides how your information is used and is responsible for it. V-Network Solutions is the Controller.
- "Counting" means Career Coach Dev's own count of how it is used, kept on its own servers and never given to an analytics company, at the level you pick: Nothing, Totals only or Detailed when signed in, Reject all, Anonymous only or Accept all when signed out (section 4).
- "Credits" means the Claude credits V-Network Solutions gives you to pay for AI tasks (section 5 of the terms).
- "Detailed record" means what Detailed Counting keeps: a record of your visits under a random number, kept 6 months, which you can see, download and delete (sections 4, 12 and 13).
- "Explicit agreement" means the agreement a person gives by turning on Health and support at work in Settings › Privacy, which EU and UK law call explicit consent.
- "Fix list" means the list kept in the app of notes V-Network Solutions sends on to be fixed, which V-Network Solutions's coding sessions read (section 7).
- "Legitimate interest" means a reason, V-Network Solutions's or yours and V-Network Solutions's together, that EU and UK law accept for a use of your information, and to which you may object (section 13).
- "Legal basis" means the ground on which EU and UK law allow a use of your information, given after each use in section 6 as its Reason.
- "Own key" means a Claude key you add from your own Anthropic account (section 5 of the terms).
- "Preview" means Career Coach Dev as it is run today, for people V-Network Solutions invites to try it.
- "Service Providers" means the companies section 10 names, whether or not they provide V-Network Solutions a service.
- "Tester" means a person V-Network Solutions has invited to use the Preview.
- "Version" means the number in "Version 1, in effect from 2026-10-28", which the privacy statement, the terms and the Consumer health data privacy policy share.
- "Visitor" means a person who reads these words signed out.
- "Your content" means what you add to the app, and what Claude writes for you.
4. Information the app keeps
- Your Account: your name, e-mail address and settings. Your password is kept only as a one-way hash, which cannot be turned back into the password. If you turn on two-step sign-in, its secret is kept encrypted; a Claude key you add, or one V-Network Solutions uses for your Account, is kept encrypted too.
- What you add: everything on Your career (headline, summary, jobs, bullets, skills, schools, certifications, projects, awards, volunteering, stories, notes, goals and pay); your applications (postings, notes, timelines, calls, contacts, interviews and calendar items) and the files you add to them, offer letters included; practice sessions; the people and companies you track, with contact photos and company logos; Library documents and pictures; resumes you import; and your conversations with the Coach.
- About other people: the recruiters, interviewers and contacts you add, and what you note about them, are kept for your career and job search and sent to Claude only as section 8 (Claude and Anthropic) says. V-Network Solutions never contacts them or uses their details for anything else. If someone you have added asks V-Network Solutions to remove their details, V-Network Solutions will ask you to remove them, and may remove them if you do not.
- Where to compare pay: the places you give, if you give them.
- What Claude wrote for you: every version of your documents, company research, analyses of postings, Library readings and cards, and redrafts.
- Text read from your files is kept with them, so that the app can search and use it.
- Signing in: the kind of device and browser ("iPhone · Safari") and when. Your IP address is used briefly to protect sign-in, and never stored as an address. A scrambled network fingerprint of each wrong sign-in code is kept at most 24 hours, so that one network's wrong codes do not lock you out from another.
- Errors you met: when, which part of the app, the reference the error page showed, the error's status and the app's version; never the page's address, what you typed or the error's message.
- AI use: for each AI task, which task it was, the model, its size and cost, and when. Not the words.
- Notifications, if you turn them on: the address your browser's notification service gives for that device.
- Your invitation: the name and e-mail address V-Network Solutions entered for you.
- Your agreement: when you agreed to each Version of the terms and confirmed you had read this statement, and on what kind of device.
- What you send V-Network Solutions: notes from Send feedback (with the page, the app's version and your kind of device, and a picture if you attach one, with where and when it was taken left out; you can remove the picture later on Feedback you've sent), the lines you write under a note you sent, with or without a reply, your answers when V-Network Solutions asks the Testers a question (with your name), and requests for more Credits.
- A message through the Contact form: see section 16 (If you write to us).
Cookies and your device. Career Coach Dev uses cookies and your browser's storage only to keep you signed in, protect its forms, remember choices you make on this device, keep your place on a page while you use it (words you have typed and not yet sent, what you opened or pressed) and, in the Home Screen app, reopen the last page you were on. A sign-in that lasts 30 days is kept only if you tick Stay signed in, and that tick is your agreement: Sign out takes it back at any time. None of this is for advertising, nothing is loaded from another site, and nothing is sold. Two more cookies may be set on the public pages: one that remembers a signed-out visitor's pick, kept 13 months, and, only with Detailed, the counting cookie described under Counting, kept 6 months. Cookies and storage lists each item, what it is for and how long it lasts. Settings › Privacy can stop your devices remembering your choices.
Counting. Career Coach Dev offers three levels side by side, none chosen for you, and asks you to pick one: signed in, on Your counted record, from Settings › Privacy; signed out, from Cookie settings at the foot of the public pages, where the three are called Reject all, Anonymous only and Accept all. Until you pick, nothing is counted, and nothing from before your pick is ever counted. You can change your pick at any time in the same place. Nothing: nothing about your use is counted; only your pick is kept. Totals only: each page you open adds one to that day's totals: which kind of page it is (never its address or title), how you reached it, the features you use from a fixed list, how quickly pages came, and your kind of device and browser; on the public pages, also the site you came from (its name, never its page) and a link's campaign tag. There is no counting cookie: a scrambled key stops you being counted twice in a day and is deleted when the day ends. Detailed: the totals, plus a record of your visits, the kinds of page you opened and those features, under a random number, so V-Network Solutions can see which steps people finish and who comes back. Signed in, it is linked to your Account inside the app; signed out, it is a cookie that lasts 6 months, works on Career Coach Dev only and is never renewed. At no level does Counting keep what you type or upload or what Claude writes; the names of employers, companies, jobs or contacts; pay; page titles or exact addresses; your IP address or your browser's full details; your location; or anything about your health. It never counts sign-in, code, password or invitation pages. Counting never changes what you can do in the app.
The app has no advertising and no third-party scripts, and nothing is loaded from another site. It never follows you on other sites. It counts how it is used only as much as you choose. It never reads your location; it keeps only your device's time zone, to show times. Speech you give in practice is turned into text on your device, and no sound is sent anywhere. A practice video never leaves your browser unless you save it.
Pictures and files are kept as you upload them. A phone photo may hold details such as where it was taken, and a Library picture keeps them; when Claude reads a picture, the app takes those details out first. Contact photos are made small and have those details removed before they are kept. You are asked not to add ID documents, passports, bank or card details, or medical records. The app does not need them. You can still talk with the Coach, in your own words, about support you would like at work, once you turn on Health and support at work in Settings › Privacy. It starts off. Turning it on is your explicit agreement that what you tell the Coach, or write anywhere else in the app (a story, a note, a document), about your health or a disability is kept and sent to Claude, made by Anthropic, with the tasks that use it, for the reasons in section 6 (Purposes and legal bases). While it is off, you are asked to leave your health out of what you add: the app cannot tell it apart, and would still send it with the tasks that use it. To take your agreement back, turn the switch off. What you wrote stays, and goes with its conversation or task, until you delete or edit it. What was already sent stays at Anthropic as section 8 (Claude and Anthropic) says.
5. Storage and security
- The app, its database and its files are hosted by DigitalOcean, in the United States: the app and its database in DigitalOcean's New York datacenter, your files in its San Francisco one. Your connection to the app, and the app's connections to its database and file storage, are encrypted.
- Your files are private. In the app, only your Account can open your files and records. Files are kept in private storage that only this copy of the app can open; its key is kept in encrypted settings, never in code.
- DigitalOcean says it encrypts the disks it stores data on. The app does not add its own encryption to your files or their text; it does encrypt your two-step secret, and a Claude key you add or one V-Network Solutions uses for your Account.
- DigitalOcean backs up the database every day and can restore it to any moment in the past 7 days. A backup is kept up to 7 days. Files have no backup. A file you delete in the Library or on an application, a contact's photo and a company's logo you remove are removed from storage at once, and if storage cannot be reached the app says so and keeps them until it can. The logo file of a company you delete or clear is removed just after, and if storage cannot be reached at that moment it stays until you delete your Account. A file lost by accident could not be brought back, so keep your own copy of anything you cannot lose.
6. Purposes and legal bases
V-Network Solutions uses your information only for these reasons. EU and UK law asks each to rest on a legal basis, given after it as its Reason.
- To give you the app you joined: keeping what you add and showing it back to you, sending a task to Claude when you press it, Company research's searches, the e-mails you need (an invitation, a link to set a new password), the e-mails about your notices if you turn them on in Settings (a short mail with no words of your notes in it, to the address you joined with or confirmed), the notifications you turn on, and the Credits you are given, spend and ask for. Reason: it is needed to provide the app under the terms you agreed to. Notices by e-mail are your choice, which you can withdraw in Settings at any time.
- To keep Accounts and the app safe and working: sign-in records, the brief use of your IP address when you sign in, the errors you met, logs, backups, the AI use record that keeps Credits fair, and stopping a reply that turns into writing program code. Reason: V-Network Solutions's legitimate interest in a secure, working app. You can object (see section 13, Your rights and choices).
- To keep a conversation warm: sending a conversation to Anthropic again for up to 15 minutes after you message, so your next message costs less. Reason: V-Network Solutions's legitimate interest in keeping the cost of Claude down. You can turn it off in Settings › Privacy, under Keep my conversations warm, without turning Claude off.
- To fix and improve the app from what you send: your feedback notes and the lines under them, your answers to V-Network Solutions's questions, and the Fix list. Reason: V-Network Solutions's legitimate interest in improving the app. You can object: with Use Claude off, your notes are not sent on, and those already sent on cannot be read on the Fix list.
- To count how the app is used, at the level you pick: Totals only and Detailed (section 4), so V-Network Solutions can see which parts help and what to fix. Reason: your consent, given by picking Totals only or Detailed, separate from the terms and never a condition of using the app. You can take it back at any time by picking Nothing, which deletes your Detailed record at once. Nothing is counted before you pick.
- To answer a message you write through the Contact form: what section 16 (If you write to us) lists. Reason: V-Network Solutions's legitimate interest in answering the people who write, and in keeping the form from being misused.
- To show what you agreed to: your agreement records. Reason: V-Network Solutions's legitimate interest in being able to show which words you agreed to.
- The people you add: recruiters, interviewers and contacts, kept for your career and job search. Reason: your and V-Network Solutions's legitimate interest in your career and job search (see About other people, in section 4).
- V-Network Solutions's notes on your Account: how you came in, when you joined, and V-Network Solutions's own notes about the Account (section 7). Reason: V-Network Solutions's legitimate interest in running the Preview for the people it invited.
- Your invitation, before you join: the name and e-mail address V-Network Solutions entered. Reason: V-Network Solutions's legitimate interest in inviting people who agreed to test.
- If you ask for access, before you have an Account: your answers, a scrambled form of your network to count requests, stop floods and keep out a network marked as spam, and at most one mail saying your request arrived. Reason: V-Network Solutions's legitimate interest in deciding whom to invite and in keeping the form from being misused. Ticking that you would like news is your agreement to hear it, which you can take back.
- Your health or a disability, if you choose to tell the Coach or write it in the app: see Pictures and files, in section 4. Reason: your explicit agreement (the Health and support at work switch), which you can take back. While the switch is off, anything about your health you add anyway is kept and sent with the tasks that use it because you chose to add it, though you were asked not to: the app cannot tell it apart from the rest.
- Where the law requires it: keeping or handing over information. Reason: the law that requires it.
Your name and e-mail address are needed to make an Account. Everything else you add is up to you.
7. Who can see your information
- You.
- V-Network Solutions, which develops and runs the app. The app never shows V-Network Solutions your applications, career, documents or conversations. For a Tester it shows: your name and e-mail address; when you joined and when you last used the app; the Credits you have been given and what you have spent, with how many calls; whether you use your own Claude key, whether it works and how many calls you make on it (never what they cost); to help with troubleshooting, the kinds of device you are signed in on, whether two-step sign-in is on, whether your last Claude call was Mock or Live, the errors you met (when, which part of the app, and the reference the error page showed) and the Claude calls that did not finish (their kind, when, and how they ended), never what you wrote; and what you send V-Network Solutions. V-Network Solutions may also pay for your calls with a Claude key of their own, and then sees what those calls cost.
- V-Network Solutions also keeps, for each Tester, how they came in (from a request for access, or another invitation) and when they joined, and may write its own short notes about the Account, to remember who it is and how to help. Only V-Network Solutions sees them, on the Testers page: the app never shows them to you, never sends them to Claude and leaves them out of Download my data. They are deleted with your Account.
- From the Testers page, V-Network Solutions can also turn off your two-step sign-in if you have lost your device (your sign-in history then says it was reset), sign you out everywhere, pause your Claude use and delete your Account (section 11 of the terms, Ending your use, says when).
- If you cannot sign in, V-Network Solutions can make you a link to set a new password. Using it changes your password and signs you out everywhere, so you would notice. V-Network Solutions only ever passes it to you.
- V-Network Solutions also runs the server and database your data is kept on, and so could reach it outside the app. V-Network Solutions does that only to keep the app working, to fix a problem you report, to remove a person's details at their request (see About other people, in section 4), or when the law requires it.
- Counts: V-Network Solutions sees only totals, and only those of 5 or more people, with V-Network Solutions's own use kept apart; never one person's visits, even with Detailed. V-Network Solutions runs the database, as this section says, so could reach the records outside the app, but only for the reasons it gives. Counts are never used to decide anything about you.
- V-Network Solutions may paste a note you sent into V-Network Solutions's own Claude account, under that account's terms and with its setting that lets Anthropic train on chats turned off, and keep it without your name in their project notes on GitHub, to fix what it is about; the picture attached to it goes there only while its box "may show this picture to Claude" stays ticked. V-Network Solutions may also send a note on to the Fix list kept in this app, which V-Network Solutions's coding sessions read through a private key. It holds the note's words without your name or e-mail until your Account is deleted, and thirty days after the fix the words are erased and only that it was fixed is kept. A copy a session already read may stay in that session's record on V-Network Solutions's computer for up to 30 days, and in V-Network Solutions's Claude account, which is set so that Anthropic does not train its models on it and from which no feedback on those chats is sent to Anthropic. It stays there until V-Network Solutions deletes it; deleting a note or taking a picture back reaches this app's list and nothing beyond it. With Use Claude off for your Account, or once you take back your agreement to these words, your notes are not sent on, and any already on the Fix list cannot be read there. If you do not turn it back on within thirty days, their words are erased from the Fix list. A copy a session read before then stays where this section says, until V-Network Solutions deletes it. V-Network Solutions's coding sessions may also see the outline of a note you send, sent on or not, so that the lead session can mark the release that fixed it: its kind, page and day, the version and device it was sent from, and whether it is new, read or done, never its words, your name, its picture or the lines under it, and none of yours while Use Claude is off or before you agree to these words. The lines you write under a note, and V-Network Solutions's lines to you, are never pasted or sent on: they stay in this app. When V-Network Solutions marks something you sent as fixed and tells you, your notifications list its page, the day you sent it, the release that fixed it and the day it was fixed, never your words, with Open, which shows the first note it names on Feedback you've sent. Your answers to V-Network Solutions's questions to the Testers may be copied there too, without names. Logs, which hold account numbers but no words, are read the same way.
- No one can use the Coach to reach another Account. No AI task, for anyone, V-Network Solutions included, can fetch or change another Account's data.
- A link you share. A page you share while signed in carries Career Coach Dev's own card: its picture, its name and a line about the app, never your words or anything else from your Account. Some browsers, Chrome on an iPhone among them, add their own picture of the screen as you see it, and may add the page's title, which can name a job or a company; Career Coach Dev cannot stop that, and both go only to whoever you send them to.
8. Claude and Anthropic
Claude is an AI made by Anthropic. The Coach is Claude. What it writes can be wrong: check it before you rely on it or send it to anyone. It makes no decisions about you or anyone else. The ratings the app shows, such as a call's rough read (worked out by the app, not by Claude) or how a posting matches your record, are for you alone and used for nothing else.
Only when you press, with one exception. Each AI button sends what its task needs. Usually that is your career record (everything on Your career except your contact details and pay; your stories and job notes unless you turn them off), the posting or message it is about, and what you typed for it. The Coach also gets your applications' details, the documents written for the application you are talking about, the page you asked about, and the conversation so far. Some requests go to Anthropic more than once to finish the task; the same content goes each time. The one exception: after you message the Coach, the interviewer in practice, the career interview or the Getting started chat, the app sends that conversation's request to Anthropic again every few minutes, the same content your message sent, for up to 15 minutes, to keep it in Anthropic's cache so your next message costs less. Each shows on AI usage under its own name (Keeping the Coach warm, Keeping a practice interview warm, Keeping a career interview warm, Keeping Getting started warm), and turning Claude off stops it.
Sent as it is: what you type to the Coach; documents you ask Claude to read (the whole file, and a PDF with its own details, such as who made it); pictures you ask Claude to read, without the details stored inside them; a file or screenshot you start an application from; postings; and recruiters' messages, after the app takes out e-mail addresses and phone numbers (a picture or PDF of a recruiter's message is sent as it is, so an e-mail address or phone number in it goes too). A resume you import is sent whole to be read, contact details included.
Never sent by the app: your contact details from your profile; your passwords and sign-in details; the pay you have entered, except when a button says your pay goes with it (Ask the Coach to sum it up sends the figures, with no names); offer letters; contact photos and company logos. Pay or contact details you type to the Coach, or that are written in a document you ask Claude to read, go with it.
Half price. Some tasks can be sent at half price and collected later. That request waits at Anthropic until the app collects it, then the app deletes it there; a result the app cannot keep stays at Anthropic until Anthropic deletes it. A change in Settings cannot call back a request already sent. If you delete your Account, a request still waiting is cancelled and removed at Anthropic first.
Company research lets Claude search the web. Anthropic has the searches run by search companies it works with in the United States (Brave Search, TurboPuffer and Parallel Web Systems), which see the search words Claude writes, not your career. Claude is told not to search for you.
Market pay, if you turn it on and press Look up: your job title and the places you gave, so that Claude can search the web for what the role pays. Never your name, employer or pay.
What Anthropic does with it. Anthropic's commercial terms say it does not train its models on what the app sends, and V-Network Solutions has not opted the app's account into any program that lets Anthropic learn from it. Its privacy center says it deletes it within 30 days, with these exceptions. A request its safety systems flag as breaking Anthropic's usage policy may be kept up to 2 years, and the safety scores about it up to 7 years. Anything may be kept longer where needed to deal with a breach of that policy, or where the law requires. And Anthropic may keep data it has made anonymous for research or statistics. Anthropic stores what the app sends in the United States, and Claude may run a task in another country where Anthropic has computers. That is Anthropic's own account, as of 2026-10-28, and it covers what the app sends, not a note V-Network Solutions pastes into their own Claude account.
What Claude was sent for a resume is on that resume's page.
A code for the Account. Every request to Claude carries a code that tells Anthropic which of the app's Accounts it came from, so that Anthropic can look into misuse. It is not your name, your e-mail address or your account number, the app keeps it nowhere and shows it nowhere, and it is the same on every request of one Account.
9. Keeping information from Claude
Settings › Privacy:
- Use Claude. Turn it off and the app sends nothing to Claude. Your applications, notes, calendar and Library keep working; the AI buttons say they are off.
- By kind, each on until you turn it off, each saying what you lose: your stories; notes on your jobs and Library proofs; Library documents; people you talk to and your call notes; your speaking pace and heard-word corrections; company research's web search.
- Keep this from Claude, on a Library document's page: that one document's words and cards are never sent, the Coach cannot attach it, neither the reading nor a card's redraft or look-over sends it, and a proof on Your career that quotes it is left out of what a task sends. It works beside the Library documents switch, so either one keeps a document from Claude. A conversation that already holds the document keeps what it holds, and Download my data carries the choice.
- Keep my conversations warm, on until you turn it off: off, the app never sends a conversation to Claude again after your message, and nothing else about Claude changes.
- Health and support at work, off until you turn it on: while it is off, the Coach is told not to ask about your health, and to point you to the switch if you bring it up. Turning it on is your explicit agreement (see Pictures and files, in section 4).
- Never sent is listed there too.
A change applies from your next press. What is already in a Coach conversation, a practice session or something Claude wrote earlier stays in it and goes with it: a conversation sends what has been said each time, and a brief that names the people you are meeting still names them in practice. Start a new conversation or practice session to leave it behind.
10. Service Providers and other companies
- Anthropic: the AI tasks, as section 8 (Claude and Anthropic) says.
- Brave Search, TurboPuffer and Parallel Web Systems: they run Company research's and Market pay's web searches for Anthropic, and see the search words Claude writes. You can turn web search off in Settings › Privacy.
- DigitalOcean: hosting, the database and file storage. All traffic passes through it, and through Cloudflare, which DigitalOcean uses to carry traffic to the app, so both see your IP address. They hold and carry the counts too, as they do everything else; the counts are never sold, used for ads or given to an analytics company.
- Better Stack: the app's log lines: technical details such as account numbers and error codes, never your words, e-mail address, phone number, names or pay. Better Stack keeps them 3 days. DigitalOcean, which runs the app, also keeps its own runtime logs for a period it doesn't publish; its build and deploy logs, which hold no one's words, are kept 90 days.
- Microsoft 365: every e-mail the app sends (an invitation, a link to set a new password, or a notice you chose) goes through Microsoft 365. Only an invitation keeps a copy, in the sender's sent mail. Microsoft keeps a delivery record of every one (the address it went to, its subject and whether it arrived) for up to 90 days. If V-Network Solutions sent your invitation another way, it stays wherever they sent it.
- Your Microsoft 365 mailbox, if you connect it: where Career Coach Dev offers it, you may connect your Microsoft 365 mailbox in Settings › Your mailbox. The app then reads, through Microsoft, the one folder you choose, and nothing else in your mailbox. It updates your applications from the mail in that folder, makes drafts in your mailbox, and sends only what you press Send on; it never moves, deletes or changes a mail it did not make. Nothing from your mailbox is used for advertising or marketing, or counted in the app's analytics. Connecting is your choice: the app asks you to agree to these words before Connect, and changes nothing until you do.
- Apple, Google, Mozilla or Microsoft, if you turn on notifications: they carry each one, encrypted so that they cannot read it; they see when and to which device. Your lock screen shows only what you chose.
- Company websites: unless you turn off Company logos from their websites in Settings › Privacy, the app's server fetches a company's logo from its website: the one you typed, or one the app found from a posting's address or a contact's work e-mail, or an image address you pasted on that site. If the site cannot be reached, it tries again at most once a day. Only you see the logo. Nothing about you is sent, but the site can see that someone looked it up. Remove a logo and it is not fetched again.
- GitHub: V-Network Solutions's project notes and the app's code are kept in private repositories on GitHub, a Microsoft company, in the United States. A note you send may be copied there without your name or e-mail address, as section 7 (Who can see your information) says. Nothing else about you is kept there.
11. International transfers
Where it is handled: V-Network Solutions runs the app from the United States, and the companies section 10 names handle your information mainly in the United States (Better Stack keeps the log lines in Germany, in the European Union). If you are in the European Union or the United Kingdom, your information leaves it. The data processing terms of DigitalOcean and Better Stack rely on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and its UK Extension, and Better Stack's fall back on standard contractual clauses. Anthropic's data processing terms, which also cover the search companies it uses, include the European Commission's standard contractual clauses and the UK's addendum to them. Ask V-Network Solutions for a copy of any of these terms.
12. Retention
- What you add: until you delete it, or your Account.
- An archived Coach conversation: deleted 30 days after you archive it, unless you restore it or choose 60 days, 90 days or never on Archived. Nothing is deleted sooner than 3 days after you change that choice, and the bell tells you 3 days before an archived conversation is deleted.
- Kept after you delete it, until your Account is deleted: a story or note you delete has its words erased from Your career at once, with its proof, its redrafts and the voice check's copies of it, and only a marker that it was deleted stays. Anything already written from it, such as a resume or letter version or a Coach conversation, keeps what it says until you delete that too, and backups keep the old words up to 7 days. When you merge people or companies, join two jobs or split a role, a copy of what they were is kept so that the change can be undone; once you undo it, only who it named is kept (a join or a split keeps only that it happened), and removing a role forgets the copies of the jobs that named it. A change the Coach made stays after you delete its conversation, so that you can still undo it. The AI use record stays. A feedback note you have sent can be deleted on Feedback you've sent, and it takes V-Network Solutions's reply and your lines under it with it.
- Not deleted on their own: a single version of a document, or a single practice session. They go with their application. Calendar items stay when their application is deleted, until you delete them.
- A file you add to start an application: a day, unless you keep it with the application.
- A Claude task you pressed: what you typed or said for it, up to 30 days after it finishes, so that a restart does not lose it.
- A task waiting for Credits: its words, up to 30 days, or until it is sent or you cancel it.
- Your invitation: 30 days after it is used or ends. Your agreements: until your Account is deleted. After that, a record with no name, e-mail or device of the Versions you agreed to, how and on what day is kept for six years, only to show which words were in force.
- A request for access: 30 days after V-Network Solutions handles it, 90 days after it was made if it is never handled, and at once when an invitation made from it is used. An address that pressed This wasn't me: kept from the form for 30 days.
- A message you write through the Contact form: 90 days after V-Network Solutions marks it done, and 12 months after it arrives at the latest. Its scrambled network form: at most 24 hours.
- A request to delete something: until it is done, then 12 months, then deleted, with the name and e-mail address you gave if you sent it without signing in; one sent without signing in goes 24 months after it arrives at the latest. Sooner if you ask V-Network Solutions.
- Your connected mailbox: of each mail in the folder you chose, its identifiers, subject, sender, the time it arrived and its first 300 characters, sealed, for at most 12 months; the sign-in Microsoft gives the app, sealed, until you disconnect. Disconnect deletes the sign-in and everything kept from your mail, and so does Delete my account.
- Sign-ins: if you tick Stay signed in, up to 30 days from your last visit; if you do not, until you close the browser, or 12 hours. Sign-in history: 90 days. A record that a sign-in ended: 31 days. A scrambled network fingerprint of each wrong sign-in code: kept at most 24 hours.
- Errors you met: the newest 50, for 90 days.
- V-Network Solutions's notes on your Account: how you came in, when you joined, and V-Network Solutions's own notes about the Account, until your Account is deleted.
- Counting: your pick, until your Account is deleted; a signed-out visitor's pick, in its cookie, 13 months. Totals only: the day's scrambled keys are deleted within about a day; daily totals are kept 25 months, then only as monthly totals. Detailed: your record 6 months, deleted each night as it ages, and at once if you pick less or delete it. A signed-out visitor's counting cookie lasts 6 months; a visitor still on Detailed after that gets a new random number, with no link to the old one. A signed-out visitor's Detailed pick is kept with their record (the level, which words they were shown and when they picked), to show they chose it, and deleted with it.
- Notifications sent: 30 days. E-mails the app sent: 90 days, recording the kind and the outcome with a scrambled form of the address, never the address or the link. Notices waiting to be mailed: until they are sent or skipped, then 7 days, with no words.
- Logs: 3 days at Better Stack; DigitalOcean's runtime logs for a period it doesn't publish; its build and deploy logs, which hold no one's words, are kept 90 days. Database backups: up to 7 days. At Anthropic: up to 30 days, longer in the cases under section 8 (Claude and Anthropic).
13. Your rights and choices
- See it, or take a copy: most of what you have added is in the app. What is kept but not shown is listed in section 12 (Retention). Ask V-Network Solutions and they will send you a copy of everything held about you, V-Network Solutions's own notes about your Account included. They can also open Download my data to you for a day, so that you can save your career, applications and Library as a file another app can read; that page lists what the file leaves out, and V-Network Solutions sends the rest if you ask.
- Correct it: edit anything you have added.
- Delete it: one item at a time, or your whole Account from Account › Delete my account, with your password. That removes your data and files from the app at once and signs you out everywhere; a half-price request still waiting is cancelled and removed at Anthropic first. What remains for a while: backups (up to 7 days), Anthropic's copy (up to 30 days, longer in the cases under section 8 (Claude and Anthropic)), e-mail records (90 days, and Microsoft's delivery record up to 90 days), logs (see section 12, Retention), for six years, your month's AI cost in a total for the month with no name or Account, and a record with no name of the Versions you agreed to and on what days. Copies outside the app stay: your invitation in the sender's sent mail, and any note V-Network Solutions pasted into their own Claude account or kept, without your name, in their project notes on GitHub. A message you wrote through the Contact form is not linked to an Account, so Delete my account does not reach it (section 16, If you write to us).
- Your Detailed record: if you pick Detailed, you can see it, download it and delete it on Your counted record, from Settings › Privacy, and picking less deletes it at once.
- Ask to delete something: a short form from this statement or Settings › Privacy sends V-Network Solutions your request. Signed in, it goes with your account. Without signing in, the app keeps the name and e-mail address you give with your request, only to find what you mean and to answer you there; they are never sent to Claude, and they go when the request does (section 12, Retention).
- Disconnect your mailbox: Settings › Your mailbox › Disconnect deletes the sign-in and everything kept from your mail. You may also withdraw the app's access at any time on Microsoft's My Apps page, myapps.microsoft.com.
- Notifications: on or off for each device, in Settings, and e-mail notices, in Settings, with a stop link in every one.
- Claude: Settings › Privacy.
- Health information: the app cannot tell health words from other words, so what you write goes with the tasks that use it whether or not Health and support at work is on. Turning it on, in Settings › Privacy, is your explicit agreement, and while it is off you are asked to leave your health out (see Pictures and files, in section 4). If you live in Washington, Nevada or Connecticut, the Consumer health data privacy policy is for you.
- Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control: the app does not sell or share your information, show ads or track you across other sites. With Global Privacy Control, this device remembers none of the choices listed under Remembered in Cookies and storage. A browser that sends Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track counts as Nothing, whatever was picked.
- Limit it: you can ask V-Network Solutions to stop using something of yours while a question about it, such as whether it is right, is settled.
- Object: you can object at any time to any use that rests on V-Network Solutions's legitimate interest (see section 6, Purposes and legal bases). V-Network Solutions then stops, unless there is a compelling reason that outweighs yours, and tells you what it is.
- Asking and complaining: wherever you live, ask V-Network Solutions for any of these through [email protected], or through the Contact form. V-Network Solutions answers within a month, free of charge, or tells you within that month why it will take up to two months more. You can also complain to V-Network Solutions the same way, and V-Network Solutions acknowledges a complaint within 30 days. A copy of your data, or word that it was deleted, is sent only to the e-mail address on your Account if you have one, and otherwise only to the address you wrote from. If you live in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you can also complain to your data protection authority (in the United Kingdom, the Information Commissioner's Office). The app does not sell what it holds about you, use it for advertising, or use it to make decisions about you.
- If V-Network Solutions says no: you can ask V-Network Solutions to look again within 45 days. V-Network Solutions answers within 45 days and, if the answer is still no, tells you how to complain to your state's attorney general.
Read the Consumer health data privacy policy
14. Children
Career Coach Dev is not meant for anyone under 18, and V-Network Solutions does not knowingly let anyone younger join. If V-Network Solutions learns that an Account belongs to someone under 18, the Account and its data are deleted.
15. Access Requests
If you fill in the form to ask for access, before you have an Account, it keeps the name, e-mail address and answers you give, and, from the same network, a scrambled form of that network, never your address or browser, used only to count requests, stop floods of them, and keep out, for 7 days, a network V-Network Solutions marked as spam. It is an application that V-Network Solutions reads, not an Account, not an agreement to the terms and not a promise of an invitation. Career Coach Dev is open to people in the US only for now; a request from elsewhere is still kept. You are asked to leave anything about your health out of the free line. The app sends at most one mail to the address you give, saying your request arrived, with a link, This wasn't me, that deletes the request and keeps that address from the form for 30 days; nothing else is sent to it unless V-Network Solutions sends you an invitation. Ticking that you would like news only records that wish: the app sends no news. A request is deleted 30 days after V-Network Solutions handles it (invites, declines or marks it as spam), 90 days after it was made if it is never handled, and at once when an invitation made from it is used, so that its answers never join an Account. It never goes to Claude.
To see a request, write to V-Network Solutions through [email protected]. To withdraw or correct one, ask V-Network Solutions to decline it: it is deleted 30 days later, and once it is declined you can send a corrected one.
16. If you write to us
If you write through the Contact form, it keeps the topic you choose, your name if you give one, your e-mail address and your message, so that V-Network Solutions can answer you, and, from the same network, a scrambled form of that network, never your address or browser, used only to count messages and stop floods of them, and kept at most 24 hours. A message over the network's limit is not sent or kept. Only V-Network Solutions reads your message, and the app never sends it to Claude. A message is deleted 90 days after V-Network Solutions marks it done, and 12 months after it arrives at the latest. It is not linked to an Account, so Delete my account does not reach it: ask through the form, from the same e-mail address, to have it deleted. If V-Network Solutions answers, the answer goes from V-Network Solutions's own e-mail, and that e-mail, with your address, stays in their mailbox, held by their e-mail provider, until they delete it; ask, and they will delete it too. You are asked to leave anything about your health out of it.
17. Security incidents
If V-Network Solutions learns that someone who should not have has reached your data, V-Network Solutions will tell you by e-mail without unreasonable delay, and within 30 days at most unless the police ask V-Network Solutions to wait. You will be told what happened, what it reached, what V-Network Solutions has done and what you can do, such as changing your password or replacing a Claude key. V-Network Solutions also reports it to any authority the law requires.
18. Changes
These words have a Version number and the date they took effect, and Earlier versions and changes lists each change with its date. Whenever the words change, the date shows the day of the change and you are asked to agree again before you go on using the app, and nothing you added earlier is used in a new way until you have. A bigger change also takes a new Version number.
19. Contact
Questions: [email protected]. Signed in, you can also use Send feedback.
Terms of use
Version 1, in effect from 2026-10-28.
1. Agreement and acceptance
You agree to these terms, and confirm that you have read the privacy statement, by ticking the box when you join (which also confirms that you are 18 or older), or by pressing Agree and go on when the words change. If you do not agree, do not join, or delete your Account.
2. Definitions
The words these terms use for something defined, such as Account, Anthropic, Claude, Coach, Credits, Own key and Preview, are defined in section 3 of the privacy statement.
3. What Career Coach Dev is, and the Preview
A career and job-search app run by V-Network Solutions, a trade name used by a private person, not a registered company. These terms are an agreement between you and V-Network Solutions. It keeps track of your applications, writes resumes, cover letters and notes for a job, helps you prepare and practise for interviews, and has a Coach to talk your career and job search through. Its AI is Claude, made by Anthropic.
- Career Coach Dev is open only to people V-Network Solutions invites who live in the United States. It is free to use. It is not offered to the public, and joining the Preview is voluntary.
- It is a product in development. Features change, things break, and pages may look different tomorrow. Send feedback when something is wrong.
- Files you add have no backup. Keep your own copy of anything you cannot lose.
- V-Network Solutions may pause or end the Preview. You will be told in the app at least 14 days before it ends, with Download my data opened to you, and your Account and data are then deleted. You may also ask V-Network Solutions for a copy of your data at any time, including in that time, as section 13 (Your rights and choices) of the privacy statement says.
- You may talk informally about what V-Network Solutions is building and what you are testing, without giving away its secrets. You are asked only not to post pictures of it publicly, and not to share confidential details, without asking V-Network Solutions first. You may always talk about your own career and job search.
4. Your Account
- You must be 18 or older.
- One person per Account. You must not share your sign-in, and you must keep your password to yourself. Two-step sign-in is there if you want it.
- Counting how you use Career Coach Dev (section 4 of the privacy statement) is your choice and never changes what you can do.
- If you think someone else has got into your Account, change your password (that signs out your other devices) and tell V-Network Solutions through Send feedback.
5. Credits and your own Claude key
V-Network Solutions gives you Credits, which pay for your AI tasks on V-Network Solutions's Anthropic account, unless a Claude key pays for them (see Your own Claude key, in this section). They have no cash value, cannot be passed to anyone else, and may be changed or paused. When they run out, the AI buttons stop until more are added; everything else keeps working.
Your own Claude key. If you add a Claude key from your own Anthropic account, then while two-step sign-in is on and the key works, the AI tasks you run are paid on that account and sent under Anthropic's terms for it. Anthropic's terms for your own account then decide what Anthropic keeps, and whether it may learn from it. If the key stops working, or two-step sign-in is off, your tasks go back to your Credits on V-Network Solutions's account until it works again. You are responsible for what your key is charged, so set a spending limit in Anthropic's console. The app keeps the key encrypted, uses it only for your own AI tasks and to check that it works, and keeps a conversation warm on it for up to 15 minutes if you turn that on in Settings. You can remove it in Settings at any time. If V-Network Solutions pays for your Account with a key of their own, your tasks are paid on V-Network Solutions's Anthropic account, as Credits are, and no conversation is kept warm on it.
6. Use it for your own career and job search
The AI is there for your own career and job search: your applications, your documents, your practice and your questions about your career and job search. You agree not to:
- use the Coach or any AI task for work that is not your own career and job search, such as writing code for a project, schoolwork, someone else's business, or long chats on other subjects;
- try to make the Coach or a task ignore its instructions, reveal them, or reach anyone else's data, including by hiding instructions in a posting, a document or a file;
- add other people's private details beyond what a job search normally involves (a recruiter's name and message, who you met at an interview);
- add ID documents, passports, bank or card numbers, or medical records (you can still talk with the Coach, in your own words, about support you would like at work, once Health and support at work is on in Settings › Privacy);
- add anything illegal, or anything meant to harm, harass or deceive someone;
- add something that is not yours unless you have the right to: Career Coach Dev is meant for keeping postings, companies' pages, recruiters' messages and documents for your own career and job search, but you must not use it to share someone else's work, or a photo of someone, beyond what your career and job search need;
- test or get around the app's security, overload it, or run scripts or bots against it. If you find a weakness, tell V-Network Solutions through Send feedback, and do not use it;
- use what Claude writes in ways Anthropic's usage policy forbids. That policy applies to everything sent to Claude.
V-Network Solutions may pause your Claude use or your Account if these terms are broken, and will tell you why. Some limits work on their own: a reply from Claude that turns into writing program code is stopped part way, and too many wrong tries at signing in pause sign-in for a while.
7. What the AI writes
What Claude writes can be wrong, out of date or not right for you. Read it, and check any fact in it, before you send it to an employer or rely on it. Career Coach Dev makes no decisions about you or anyone else. The Coach is an AI, not a person, and not a professional career counsellor, lawyer, tax or financial adviser, immigration adviser or doctor, so what it says is not professional advice of any of those kinds. For a question about a contract, a non-compete, your rights at work, a visa, tax or investments, ask a qualified professional. Career Coach Dev cannot promise you an interview, an offer or a level of pay.
8. Who Career Coach Dev belongs to
Career Coach Dev (its code, design, the app's own words, its name and Two Cs mark as used here, and the instructions it gives Claude) belongs to V-Network Solutions, which keeps all rights in it. You may use it for your own career and job search while you are invited. You agree not to copy the app or its design, take it apart or reverse engineer it (except as far as the law where you live allows), copy it in bulk with scripts or bots (your browser, its accessibility tools and extensions you use for yourself are allowed), try to get the instructions it gives Claude, use its name or mark as the name or mark of anything else, or use Career Coach Dev to build another app or to train an AI model. This does not touch what you add or what is written for you, which stay yours (section 9): you may send and reuse the documents it makes for you, as they look, however you like.
Company names and logos you see in Career Coach Dev belong to their owners. The app shows them only to you, to mark which company is which; it does not mean that any company is connected with Career Coach Dev or approves of it. Claude and Anthropic are trademarks of Anthropic, PBC; LinkedIn of LinkedIn Corporation; Microsoft Word of Microsoft Corporation; and Chrome of Google LLC. Career Coach Dev isn't made, sponsored or endorsed by any of them.
9. Your content is yours
- What you add stays yours. Career Coach Dev claims no ownership of it.
- What Claude writes for you is yours to use as you like. V-Network Solutions claims no rights in it and will never assert any against you or anyone you give it to. V-Network Solutions gives you whatever rights V-Network Solutions has in it, including those Anthropic's terms give the account that pays for the call, and if any of them cannot pass to you, lets you use, change and share it freely, for good, at no cost. This stays after you leave. A call on your own Claude key comes to you under Anthropic's terms for your key's account. Parts of it may come from others, such as a posting's words or a company's own pages, and those stay theirs. The law may not treat text an AI wrote as anyone's work, so you may not be able to stop others copying it, and Claude may write something much like it for someone else. What you change and add to it is your own work.
- You give V-Network Solutions permission, free of charge, to keep, copy, convert (for example reading the text out of a file, taking the hidden details out of a photo, or making it smaller), back up, show back to you, and send to Claude what you add and what is written for you, only to run Career Coach Dev for you and as the privacy statement says. The companies the privacy statement names may do the same for V-Network Solutions, for that purpose alone.
- That permission ends for each item when you delete it, or your Account, apart from what the privacy statement says is kept after that, and for how long.
- It is used for nothing else, except a note you send V-Network Solutions, as section 10 says.
- Counting, at any level, never includes your content.
10. Feedback
If you send ideas, notes or pictures, you give V-Network Solutions permission, free of charge, to keep, copy and use them to understand and improve Career Coach Dev, as this section and the privacy statement say, and to build your ideas into the app without owing you anything for them. They are never published or shown to other Testers, except a quote: V-Network Solutions may ask to quote exact words of yours on the landing page or the About page, and uses them only after you say yes on Account › Quotes, with your name as you choose there and the line that you use Career Coach Dev free by invitation, and never once you take that yes back. A picture of a page still shows your own content, which stays yours (section 9), and taking a picture back on Feedback you've sent ends this permission for it, apart from what the privacy statement says is kept after that, and for how long. A note may be pasted into V-Network Solutions's own Claude account, under that account's terms, with training on chats turned off, and kept in V-Network Solutions's project notes, to fix what it is about; never with your name or e-mail address. A note may also be sent on to the Fix list kept in the app, which V-Network Solutions's coding sessions read through a private key, as the privacy statement says. A picture attached to it goes there only while its box "may show this picture to Claude" stays ticked. Answers to V-Network Solutions's questions to the Testers may be copied there too, without names.
11. Ending your use
- You can stop whenever you like, and delete your Account from Account › Delete my account. It takes your data with it, as the privacy statement says. If you would like a copy of your career first, ask V-Network Solutions to open Download my data to you for a day.
- V-Network Solutions may end your access. Unless these terms were broken, you will be told in the app at least 14 days before, and V-Network Solutions opens Download my data to you so that you can save a copy first; then your Account and data are deleted.
12. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
Career Coach Dev is a free Preview, provided as it is. There is no promise that it will always be available, free of mistakes, or right for your situation. V-Network Solutions is not responsible for losses that come from using it, including lost data, except where the law does not allow that to be limited: for example, harm caused on purpose or through gross carelessness, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or a breach of data protection law. Nothing in these terms takes away a right that the law where you live gives you and that an agreement cannot remove.
13. Changes
Whenever these terms or the privacy statement change, the date at the top shows the day of the change, the app lists what changed on Earlier versions and changes, and you are asked to agree again before you go on. A bigger change also gets a new Version number. Until you agree, the app shows you only the new words, Earlier versions and changes, What's new, Delete my account and, if V-Network Solutions has opened it for you, Download my data. If you do not agree, you can delete your Account.
14. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of Missouri, in the United States. If something goes wrong between you and V-Network Solutions, tell V-Network Solutions first, at [email protected], and you will both try to settle it within 30 days. If it cannot be settled, the courts of Missouri can decide it. If you live in the European Union, the United Kingdom or another country whose law protects consumers in ways an agreement cannot change, you keep that protection, and you can bring a claim in your own courts where that law allows it.
15. Contact
[email protected], or Send feedback when you're signed in.
If you, or anyone, think something in Career Coach Dev uses your work, picture, name or mark without the right to, tell V-Network Solutions at [email protected], and V-Network Solutions will look into it and may remove it.
Cookies and storage
Career Coach Dev keeps these on your device. Each is needed for something you asked for, or is a choice you made. Nothing here is for advertising, and nothing is loaded from another site. The two Counting cookies are set only once you pick a level in Counting, for Career Coach Dev's own counts, never an analytics company's.
Always on, needed for what you asked for
These keep you signed in, protect your forms and make the app work. They are not used for anything else.

Never
Career Coach Dev sells and shares nothing. If your browser sends Global Privacy Control, this device remembers none of the choices under Remembered.
Signed in? Settings › Privacy can stop your devices remembering your choices.
A visitor who has never signed in on this device gets only the form cookie, on Sign in and an invitation, and the counting cookies above only once they pick in Counting on the public pages. After you sign out, an unsent note is removed. The last page goes at every sign out. If you did not choose Stay signed in, your Read aloud and Hide the list choices, which tips you have seen, your choice for Tips before an action and the Home Screen card's Not now go too; if you did, they stay until you press Clear. The offline page stays until you clear the browser's site data.
A phone's Home Screen app keeps its own storage apart from Safari's, so clearing in one does not clear the other.
